Egerton Consulting was established in 2001 by Amanda and Martin Egerton. Bringing together complementary skills, we offer expert advice in all areas of risk and reliability, as well as a full range of statistical analysis services. Our depth of knowledge combined with many years of commercial experience means we can deliver the most appropriate solutions to your organisation.
Customer focus and consistently delivering to a high standard are central to our ethos, and our focus on undertanding your requirements is key to achieving the high standard of service that we deliver on projects and training courses.
Both Amanda and Martin have worked on projects requiring security clearance and all information received is treated as confidential.
Amanda Egerton has over 30 years’ experience of risk and reliability work, having originally entered this field via nuclear safety assessment and reliability engineering work in the electricity generating industry. This has broadened to include water, oil and gas, rail, air traffic control, and emergency services.
Amanda holds a BSc degree in Physics from the University of York and a European MSc degree in Safety and Reliability; she is also a Chartered Physicist.
Amanda has also been a regular guest lecturer as an external expert at Cranfield University on their MSc courses in Water Pollution Control Technology and Water and Wastewater Technology/Engineering.
Martin Egerton has over 35 years’ experience in strategic and analytical roles, with over 15 of these spent in the electricity generating industry. Martin has extensive experience of project economic appraisal and statistical work in an engineering environment, of corporate planning and forecasting, and of strategic work in a commercial setting. He has also worked as a senior specialist economics consultant in the oil and gas industry.
Martin holds a BSc degree in Mathematics with Management Sciences and a PhD degree in Statistical Analysis from the University of Manchester; he is also a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society.
